The 3 US-China communiques is one of the biggest western foreign policy disaster of all time. Best thing to do is rip them up and go back to US- Taiwan mutual defense treaty

I hope the US is also militarily prepared for any conflict. Being militarily prepared is the most important deterrent to China at this time.

So basically he is admitting they are eventually going to invade

Mr Jinping has aiming to invade ever since he took power. That’s the issue and why he’s been constantly telling his military to prepare for wrar

Don’t worry, China will wait for the US to move the microchip fabs out first.

This remark will probably age as well as his winter 2021 remark "Russia will not attack Ukraine."

What are we doing telling China what to do with Taiwan or telling Russia what to do with Ukraine?
When Biden says something you should expect all the contrary to happen.

So many people talking about Taiwan, but they don’t know anything about it, like its official name & capital. 😢 So Ridiculous !
**Taiwan’s offical Name is Republic of China (RoC)😮,
** it’s capital is Nanking located in the east of China🙀 (270km away from Shanghai, but 800 km far away from Taiwan Island) according to RoC’s constitution🤔

I hope thing could get workout without war. I think people forget that Taiwan legally belongs to China. In 1895 China lost a war with Japan and Taiwan was ceded to Japan by China in the Treaty of Shimonoseki. After World War II. Japan lost the Treaty of Shimonoseki was reversed in the Sino-Japanese Peace Treaty and Taiwan was returned to China. Chiang kai shek's ROC government who was consider to be the legal government of China at the time represented China in accepting Taiwan back for China. It is one of the best legal claim a country have over a territory in world history. If people would remember this legal fact when dealing with China and Taiwant it would be a lot easier to come to a peaceful solution.

Taiwan is a liability, its very different from Ukraine. Ukraine is next to NATO where it can be easily supplied. But Taiwan is thousands of miles away and ships trying to supply it can be easily destroyed. We should just cut off Taiwan, its of no importance to the rest of the world and its a nuclear time bomb.
