Coming off a 7-6 season, the Michigan State Spartan football team return for an unforgettable season. This year's Spartans reached historic levels of achievement. They succeeded as conference champions and, after a 26 year drought, reached the 100th annual Rose Bowl game. The team went on to win the Rose Bowl 24-20 over the Stanford Cardinals on January 1st, 2014.

This is a non-profit video, in which none of the footage is owned by me. The content used in this video is in sole possession of Michigan State University, ESPN, NBC, and Fox Sports.

As I was standing in the stands of the Rose Bowl in Pasadena January 1st, 2014, we had just won the Rose Bowl and I was just in awe... I couldn't believe the season that we had just experienced and after the trophy presentation, when the announcer was interviewing Mark Dantonio. When I heard him sum up the season with one word, "completion!" I choked up. I never get that emotional! He is totally amazing! Such a class act!
We as Spartan fans have been through so much together! Walking out of Spartan Stadium with a gut wrenching loss after loss in games that we clearly had victories in hand and the reason we lost those games was because of coaching. Now we have the best coach in the country as far as I'm concerned. What a total turn around.
I give credit where credit is due. From Lou Anna K. Simon to Mark Hollis and Tom Izzo helping with the decision to hire coach Dantonio. Thank you MSU!
