Ingredients

12 oz evaporated milk
6 oz pecans half’s
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 stick of salted butter
2 tsp vanilla extract

I make my Pralines a little differently, but it is from a New Orleans recipe as well. Your Pralines look yummy 🥰 Pralines are a must have pleasure!!! My family and friends are addicted 😁

I have made them the way you showed in the video but I prefer using condensed milk. Either way is good

I’ve made it before but only with evaporated milk 1 cup white sugar pecans stir stir stir 😲more like 45 mins 😂

I have difficulty getting candy to 240 Degrees over medium heat. I've tried both non-stick pot and Magnalite pots. Can get temp up to about 218 but candy doesn't get hard enough. Turned burner to high and temp increased but candy began to scorch.

You add the pecans to the sauce when it’s off heat, right? That cooling allows it to thicken up? Just want to double check!
