In the Ultimate Universe: Jameson hates Spiderman for the sole reason of him not being a real hero in his eyes. His son, an astronaut, died on a space mission; to Jameson, his son was a real hero.

In a way, Jonah’s wife became a victim like Uncle Ben, Peter’s choosing not to help, or having the power to save someone, yet still failing, resulted in JJ becoming sad and guilt-ridden as Peter had after one of his loved ones died.

honestly, I wish that the mainline Spidey is the one that revealed himself to Jonah and finally buried the hatchet with him

Jonah hates spiderman but absolutely love Peter like in a story Jonah learned his identity while the two were camping or something and Jonah started to be nicer and stuff and tries to even help spiderman I think
