For what it is worth, the 'hidden' chest you mention at the end does have a key. It's in the nest of a bird practically underneath the chest, around where the idol in the grove is. The lock is easy enough to pick, so just an FYI.

the key for the "secret" chest in the grove is in the bird's nest down near the ritual side

That chest has been there since early access.

Side note, the key to that chest is very close.
It's the key you find in the blue jays nest just below it.

That chest easily accessible with enhanced leap and the key is with the bird nest below.

I kept looking for where the "shiny chest" was because the bird in the grove had the key for it in its nest. The internet just said "it's for the shiny chest, on the pillar" but I couldn't find it ANYWHERE. Thanks.

After 500 hours of play I just discovered that there was treasure in Wither's coffin, lol. I had never even examined it in in the past. I showed a few friends during a multi-player game and they had never noticed it either. Love BG3, always something new.

Lol I found that chest really early on because I wanted to get down there and didn't know the way you were supposed to do it.

Dont go to the mountain pass before finishing the grovel/goblon quests, theyre timelocked. Alfira shows up on the first long rest after entering the grove then crossing the bridge to the west.

There is a mod that allows Alfira to join your party if you are a good guy. and keep her permanently. I don't know how the dialogues go on that or what she would say at the end of the game.

Okay, i just gotta say i had an ad pop up that was funny, as you were talking about the main menu screen bug and the camera panning a beach and then goes down down to, i had an ad for Cheetos Mac and Cheese, so that was kinda funny.

4:23 such a mod does indeed exist BTW. Haven't tried on on a Dark urge playthrough, though. Too scared.

um some weird bug happned to me, game crashed then told me to verify files. then when i loaded in camp, 2nd camp chest appeared aside from the main one. having doubts on using the newly appeared chest to put my items since its a bug the new camp chest might disappear. is there a fix for this?

Isn't getting Alfira more of a bug exploit? It would be easier to just hire a bard from Withers, Alfira wouldn't have dialogue beyond what you already see anyway.
