I remember when I upgraded from the base Xbox one to the Series X, I booted up this game first just because of how much trouble the One had running and I wanted to see the difference. Needless to say it was absolutely HUGE.

My xbox one is just turning 8 years old. It's the only xbox I've had since 360 and is starting to stop working. Today for christmas I was somehow lucky enough to end up with a series x. $50 game unplayable. without pvp this game does not work. im just getting clapped no chance, all my farming gone restart do it again until i go insane. the worst part is i have no chance to fight back. im helpless.

Iv loved playing rust but apart from all the bugs the biggest let down for me is cheating while people raid our hard earned base, they could head shot us while sitting behind solid walls or doors, head shots constantly and the ability to see our tc so they just c4ed straight to it even though it was no way obvious where it was. It's happened three times by the same group over two wipes.

Runs like a dream on PS5. PS4 was playable, but torture lol. Dropping to 15ish fps in PVP made it feel like if you ever got a kill it was pure luck. Been having loads more fun on new gen though. 👍

It sucks so bad because ive waited for years for this to come to xbox1 and now that it has its almost impossible to find a new gen in my town and I refuse to pay someone more then what it retails for

I think the difference in graphical fidelity it’s either a placebo or down to the new auto hdr engine the new consoles have. The game runs in compatibility mode, as confirmed by the developers. So it emulates itself as an Xbox one to play the game, it’s not optimised for next gen in any way, shape or form. The performance difference on the other hand is a no brainer given just how much more powerful the new consoles are.
