The creation of technologically advanced aircrafts have tremendously transformed military warfare and the United States has, yet again, developed an aircraft that has proven that there’s absolutely no limit to the evolution of military arsenals. The revolutionary new jet engine developed by GE in collaboration with DARPA and USAF Labs combines four technologies. They are turbofan, RAMJET, SCRAMJET, and a rotary detonation combustion chamber that makes the engine more efficient, more powerful, and extending its range for a given amount of fuel. This engine will propel 6th generation planes to Mach 10 and maybe faster.

The US has also begun development of a 7th generation fighter which might be able to achieve low earth orbit.

No way, to fly in an atmosphere to where you can burn fuel, that much atmosphere would create too much heat on the aircraft to fly mach 6. Realistically mach 4 would be the fastest, at extreme.
