Hmm, what if the little pressure gauge is there to tattle on all the IR owners who are massively overpressuring the guns and then filing warranty claims? I'm guessing there's a way inside the tool for IR to know if you've overpressured it beyond some point, and they will deny warranty if they find that you did. Or maybe they aren't as deviously clever as I give them credit for.
