The Ownership of Queen Louise of Sweden's Jewelry

At that time, Sweden still followed the rule that members of the royal family had to marry princes or princesses. Since Louise and her family had later been stripped of their Battenberg titles, her marriage to Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf initially faced difficulties. It was ultimately the pressure from their British relatives that facilitated the marriage. Possibly due to frail health, Louise gave birth to a stillborn daughter in 1925 and thereafter had no public record of pregnancy, nor did she have any children of her own.

Gustaf Adolf and Louise were, as far as I know, a legendary couple, very much in tune with their time and environment.
Louise was said to have a crazy sense of humour, was short tempered in a good way and very practical.
Again, as far as I remember, they were once looking at carpets.
There was a model by a very famous (and expensive) designer that they really liked.
The king asked the queen if they should get a couple of those.
Louise answered that he should buy one for himself, and she could come and look at it sometimes.

Interesting account. I find it odd there’s precious little cataloging of such important and historical pieces.

O video e interessante mas se aproveita so a imagem a voz de quem narra e fanhosa, quase incompreensivel. Que pena, corrija isso.
