iPhone 13 Pro Max - 6 Months Later

It’s been 6 months since the iPhone 13 Pro Max launched, and this is my long term review (with a Day in the Life approach). The screen size, battery capacity and added Pro features (RAW photos) make it the perfect all rounder. But was it worth the upgrade over the 12 Pro Max, and do you need the larger 13 Pro Max model?

I use the iPhone to create all of my content (including YouTube videos and Instagram photos), so it’s been an absolute powerhouse for me! I'm using the 1TB Graphite 13 Pro Max.

This is the only iPhone that has caught my interest as a massive Samsung fan. I still chose the S22U but I have to give props to Apple for their battery life. S22U doesn't have bad battery life by any means but it's really awesome that even though my S22U has a much bigger battery the 13PM still manages to outlast it. I just prefer the flexibility that Android has especially as a programmer myself.

The 13 Pro Max is the happiest I've been with an 🍎 iPhone since the 5s. It almost over night cut the time I spent on my laptop and iPad with close to 70%. Overall screen time down by approx 50%.

 - Great that you are using the iPhone for all your content - a great example of what you can achieve without spending a fortune on equipment. I noticed you using a DJI gimble and was wondering if you had any issues with the weight? I use the OM5 as well and I saw somewhere that the 13 Pro Max is actually not officially supported due to the weight I imagine - eager to get your view. Thx!

🍎 Had the exact same issues with WB and low light filming. In the end I've gone with a £6 third party camera app (ProCam) which lets you do all of that and have that 'full manual' control over your iPhone camera - working well so far!

I'm also loving how this is both an iPhone video and a Tesla b-roll video. Props as always sir.
