Prince William's Inspiring Speech At COP26 | @EarthshotPrize

Prince William and the Earthshot Prize finalists took part in the World Leaders Summit at COP26.

Prince William introduced the 2021 Earthshot winners and finalists to the assembled leaders and called for further support for innovation to repair the planet.

Over the last ten years, the evidence that we face urgent challenges to protect the environment has become indisputable, and it’s clear that the time to act is now. Drawing inspiration from the concept of moonshots, which since the moon landing in 1969 has become shorthand to talk about the most ambitious and ground-breaking goals, Prince William announced The Earthshot Prize: an ambitious set of challenges to inspire a decade of action to repair the planet.

We believe in the power of human ingenuity to prove to us all that the seemingly impossible is possible.

Prince William, it's nice that we are finally starting to address all the dire issues facing our planet.
It's just a shame these issues weren't seriously addressed by more countries decades ago.
I actually do fear it may be too late to undo the severe damage already done... I certainly pray I'm wrong.
