I fix older gen consoles/handhelds and resell them. I can confidently say more people are buying used ps4s, ps3, ps2 (especially ps3, no subscription/no WiFi needed, HD 1080p, physical game copies) over new gen consoles. Nice to see the real gamers win for once.

We bought a PS5 from Costco in 2021 without any issues. I'm sure some big cities actually had issues where you couldn't find any specifically during first year. But everywhere else had stores buying more stock, you just had to look around or ask when they will get next shipment and show up then
