HELP FOR ALL: Go to folder where you installed game. Delete file by name: dbghelp.dll. Then go to My Computer, then documents. Open Generals folder and edit file by name options.ini. Change resolution numbers to resolution of your screen. For instance My resolution is 1200 1080. Save it, exit. And play! It works! Aftee 6 monts of trying I finally solved it.

I did that and the game still doesn't run. I saw another video where the install disk automatically reinstalls that missing file well that never happens either. I have directx 12 and was playing fine for 3 years up until yesterday I had an error message. Totally annoying! So what is next after this doesn't work???
