Yep another thing is DSL lines in many places are in poor shape and old but Companies are moving away from DSL so they aren't really interested in fixing and maintaining them so you get poor service.. Many companies like ATT are reluctant to even acknowledge only service they can offer to 75% of it's customers is DSL and will only show it in small letters in fine print.... However if it's fiber they''ll tell you and your speed options will be high.. If it's some mysterious "Internet xxx" plan with speeds " UP TO" 100mpbps or less it's DSL...

Say I have two 100Mbps connections,
One is DSL, the other is Fiberglass.
Are they the same speed ?
