I'm so happy The Power of The Dog won Best Drama, easily my favorite out of the nominees (my fav of the year were Spencer and Titane but since they have 0 chance of Best Picture noms I'll be rooting for TPOTD)

The idea of an awards show is to reflect upon and honor the best films of the year. Although an argument certainly can be made that WSS is the best musical/comedy (I would favor Licorice Pizza, but it’s really a matter of taste), there are MANY better dramas than The Power of the Dog in this great year in cinema - starting with the other nominees!

So glad that ariana debose won think she could be the only acting sweep 🙌🙌🙌 i was surprised with Nicole kidman and kodi smit-mcphee mcpee but good for them !! I still have my predictions at Kristen stewart and jamie dornan for the min, gonna wait until the critics choice and sag to change.

I'm still gonna say that it's not over for Cumberbatch yet. People always forget how influential the BAFTAs are and Cumberbatch is a favourite to win that. He could lose CCA and SAG and win BAFTA and *still* win the Oscar a la McDormand last year or even Hopkins. His movie is the BP frontrunners which always helps Best Actors. I think it's a 3 way race frankly. And GG isn't gonna change that imo.
