Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070 hard reset

This method is called HARD RESET and will reset your Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070 to factory settings by using a keys combination without requiring the phone to be power on. Use it if you forget your code, password, pin or pattern, if you have blocked your Google account (too many pattern attempts) or if you have various problems with the phone software.

This method will not upgrade or downgrade the firmware version of your Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070 and it will NOT UNLOCK the network lock. This method does not reset the PIN code of the SIM card. If your phone has been ROOTED this method will NOT UNISTALL the ROOT.

Warning! You do this at your own risk! Take your sim card and memory card from the phone before the reset. All personal data from the phone (contacts, pictures, messages, apps, games, files) will be deleted! Please, if you can, make a backup before!

1.Power off your phone
2.Press together volume up + home button + power button
3.Release your fingers of the phone when Samsung logo appear
4.Choose with volume buttons "wipe data/factory reset" and select it with power button
5.Choose "yes" with volume buttons and select it with power button
6.Select "reboot"
7.Wait until the phone restarts
That's it!

verry helpfull video and description...only diffrence is that i couldnt select with the power button but instead i selected with home button

Press home button and then, when will ask for password, type anything you want several times until will appear the recovery menu, then select "wipe data/factory reset"

In case my update of my firmware makes my cellphone works like a turtle. Is it a good way to restart from the begining?? Of course with a previous backup of my phone with kies. ;)

Ma con questo reset non rischio di cancellare tutto ovvero formattare il tel vero?perche mi capita spesso che il cellulare si blocca quando apro la fotocamera soprattutto..e mi SN accorta che è dovuto a un sovraccarico di RAM..quindi mi tocca pulire prima la ram o nei casi gravi tolgo la batteria quando si blocca totalmente..
