About Me:

My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first Youtube channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Have you considered placing a cctv/camera outside mainly facing the forest, maybe to record what animal goes around your backyard.

The Philippines Does not have snow. In the U.S. and Canada it is advisable to use wood as it can breath and can be thermal regulated with foam and it can absorb moist. In the tropic we don't need wood as dweling what we need is something that can withstand heavy rain. Hense concrete is the choice.

In Belgium we don't like drywall either. We have brick houses and than instead with concrete we use white stuff and that is even smoother than concrete. I don't know if I want to live in a house in the USA. A wooden construction with drywall... I think you hear everything in the other room. And the walls are so small. My walls are over a foot... ❤ I love your house. And I am happy you are both having a wonderful life. You work for it... ❤❤❤

What a cute new goat! And he even sounds cute; such a soft voice. 💘 The indoor aviary birds are so funny, their curiosity shows everyone that they know they are safe and can explore. I just kept smiling seeiing that.
Even through the lens of your ecuipment, and my monitor, I always saw the different colors on the walls as well and thought: "Huh, they must wanted it brighter I guess."🤭 Indoor paint does change color, but not several shades, unless you have a heavy smoker in the household. (my husband used to work for a company (I shall not name names) that makes paints and he agreed with me: as long as no direct sunlight hits the paint indoors, it will not change colors so much.) Super funny to hear you talk about it and noticing it, you could well be right about how you got this skill too. After all, experience enriches the senses.

Hi Mikey, you are so true about renovation expenses and troubles here in the Philippines. We had our house renovated too here in Lipa City. But I end up getting the contractors to stop and finish the current job I have them done earlier. Because my husband and I trusted them so much and don't really know how renovation goes because we're from California and Chicago.Our old Contractors, start charging more and more. My husband was getting mad at me because I was too nice to them and that's why they abused us. Then I was right, I started noticing they were not doing things right, especially the painting colors I picked and the bathroom renovation tiles. Some areas in the room are different in color and they also told us the same thing as what you said in your vlog that it's the painting that is fading later on. So I caught all that, and the problems started showing off after they were done with the jobs. Ours is a total renovation but not so big like your house. Walls and ceilings are leaking water recently just last Storm Kristine. It was terrible! Anyways, I feel your frustrations. But it's a learning lesson for us both. I love your house and I actually shared a lot of your videos with my brother in Florida and other siblings in Chicago. Take care and stay well❤

There is recycling in ph. In the cities I've lived in, different days for different types of trash. There is a day for recyclables. There are even people who go door to door to buy recyclable trash like cans, bottles, newspapers, glass, etc. There are also scavengers who go through the trash to get the recyclables and sell it.
