The brass “axe”. Is a replica of an adze. It’s an old tool pre wood planner. Also used to dig tunnels. Cool find.

the Oldsmobile mirror is a visor mirror. It was clipped on the backside of the visor and you could flip it down to check your lipstick etc.

Hey Julian. I believe the brass and wood item you picked up is an adze. They are for shaping and shaving wood. Looks to be a ceremonial one maybe with the spiked top.

I have to share this with you, but those bows brought up a memory. I had my first yard sale, and my husband decided to go fishing. so he did not price his things, especially his bow.. well I had no idea and sold it for $5.00. I’ve yet to hear the end of it. But he should have said don’t sale that for less than….
And that plant y’all got, they are hen and chicks, they multiply. They’re a succulent. But these may turn a dark whine like color, they will multiply. You can plant them in a strawberry pot, they’ll sprout babies out from the sides, you can pull them off and just stick in another pot of soil(a light sandy like soil. You’ll love them, they take care of themselves. Don’t over water though. Good finds so far y’all!

That plant is a succulent, probably a hen & chicks, and will need very little water. I had a big patch in a flower bed and they survived our South Dakota winters. Some varieties are perennials but not all of them. The ones I had also bloomed but the blooms were ugly!

The axe like tool is called an adze. It’s been around since the stone ages. It mostly used for smooth cuts into wood.
