15:45 The problem isn't "being needy" it's that with Ads on TV, the break is expected, and Ads on TV streaming services it pauses what you are watching. Twitch is live, and people have FOMO, and just want to watch the thing, so 5 minutes of ads keeping you from watching the thing is frustrating. It's like if you turned on the TV to watch the last 5 minutes of the Lakers vs the Warriors finals and you get hit with 5 minutes of ads, and once they've finished welp the match is over.

29:35 miz is right, dan is wrong. Streaming is an unhealthy job, the system rewards the xqc lifestyle financially, sit at a desk all day, every day, scream at reacts and games, be emotionally unregulated and get hopped up on stimulants like caffine and adderall so you're 'on' for 14h straight. Degens exist, but streaming rewards it, enables it, demands it and punishes you in view count if you take breaks.

Mizkif has grown so much since 2020, liking this arc. Interesting video and unique, glad Mizkif was the one who interviewed him.

58:18 What's actually frightening is he knew why dr disrespect got banned, yet look how he reacts, he doesn't take it serious. He had no intention that the information was going to be released and now that we know, we can clearly see his attempt at hiding a PDF file. This is sickening

Pretty sure Doc and Twitch have signed NDA's about the outcome of their court battles. I could be wrong, but I remember hearing they settled out of court and Doc was paid millions. Unfortunately it looks like we will never know.

Miz is all over the place and I love it. Amazing streams. The level of variety is just insane, like every stream is something else is happening and everything is always super uplifting and motivational.

21:22 lmao who the fuck wrote that question? Colloquialism? Mizkif's brain almost exploded trying to read that.

3:35 "But if you go to school and work hard for 8 years to become a doctor, you're pretty sure for the next 30 years you'll be able to get a job as a doctor."

And yet, doctors commit suicide at a rate twice of the general population... Which begs the question, is having job/financial security something we can consider "success?"

Does having great prestige and wealth make you successful as a doctor? No. To live successfully is to be happy in life. If you're not happy, if you're miserable often, even to the point of suicide, you're not successful, you're "a failure."

you gotta realise as well that one of the biggest issues for Twitch their success compared to a platform like Youtube is that all of their stuff is only live. This creates their imo biggest potential loss of income which will be caused by different time zones. Personally I just got a new intern job, might continue to work there, but it causes me to already not have a lot of free time and then the fact of me living in eu instead of na makes it almost impossible to get attached to any sort of twitch community
