We need a balanced approach. All well and good to help businesses grow BUT IT NEEDS TO BE ALL BUSINESSES NOT JUST THE BIG ONES. Also need a tax system reform so corporations and executives actually pay into the system. Not just increased rates to fund vanity projects in the short term. ACTUAL SYSTEMIC CHANGE!

We need to rid the bureaucracy and red tape that's grown exponentially over the last 2/3 decades and make it easier for businesses. An example- I'm in the process of starting as a sole trader in the plumbing and gas industry, I've just had to fork over £1k for a gas safe license number and public liability insurance! We then need to resit every 5 years at a cost of about £500-£1000 and that's just the basic qualification! If I want to sit my LPG, Oftec or renewables that's more money !

If these guys are growing your economy already, how about getting rid of the 2-child limit on additional payments as part of universal credit.
