The Nothing Phone (2) and iPhone 14 Pro both promise a high-end user experience, but do they deliver on that promise?

In this video, Nothing 2 gets a chance to flex its camera muscles against the mighty iPhone 14 Pro! In a day-long test, I found out how the batteries compared and what each phone was like to shoot with in both video and photo formats. The results are plain to see - and shocking!

I visited the nothing store in London after being intrigued by the phone, ordered one the next day.
I've had it about a week now and I love it, takes a bit of getting used to but no complaints whatsoever, camera speakers ear 2s all work great for me, and I love the customisation.
All for such a great price, great job 👍

Enjoy watching this on my new Nothing Phone 2. Good to see Nothing is helding up to iPhone in certains scenarios and also I prefer the color reproduction on Nothing on the videos but sadly not on the frame rate. Sadly the ear 2 is too expensive for me to justify getting it. Please get the smart watch by CMF and review it so that I can decide to get it or not. 😆

Well I finally am back in the UK planning on picking up the Spigen Screen protector for my NP2.
So far pictures defo suffer in low light and the zoom defo needs to be worked on. anything after 2x is pretty blury

I don't understand when both devices have 4K 60FPS recording video, why didn't you try it ?

The Nothing Phone 2 barely competes with the iPhone 13 let alone 14, let alone the 14 Pro Max.

I do experience the low volume speaker issue after the update, particularly in games. And notification sounds are also buggy whereby sometimes it gets really loud. The only workaround for that is to use a none stock notification tone (composer or other source). No seperate volume controls for notifications and ringtone is a problem.

I think what you’ve managed to emphasise is where the extra money ultimately goes with an iPhone over a NP2. I would say the photos are very usable indeed and I don’t thing the price extra paid for an iPhone on that basis only is worth it. But when we want to capture important moments on video, it’s clear where the money goes on the iPhone over NP2. But I would say with some good PC based software the video is still very useable if you want to really get stuck into editing. The NP2 clearly punches above it weight. However if you want the best all round, it’s still a flagship. Personally I’m happy with the NP2 as most video is taken with the phone static. But it’s all very subjective. Great video. Look forward to you going to the nothing store.

Even though India is one of the biggest market of nothing, it makes indian skin tone very inaccurate i personally found Iphone 13 portrait to be more colour accurate than Nothing 2.
