As someone who works with fire props, it is so, so important to be careful. Now I wanna know how they built both of the Maleficent dragons. It makes me unreasonably (or maybe not so unreasonably?) angry when people don't take fire safety seriously.

The abandoned animatronics are pretty cool though, thanks for taking us on a tour of all of them!

I used to work in a 100+ year old hotel out here in Colorado, and we had an animatronic moose head in one of our meeting spaces that was made by one of the former imagineers from Country Bear Jamboree. You could talk through him through a mic hooked up in the back, and it was as weird as you’d think.

OMG Alien Encounter was the very first "ride" we did on our first day at Disney when I was 8....it scarred me FOR LIIIIFE😂

Please talk about deaths at Disney! The stories are really interesting. I heard one about the carousel of progress. A girl sadly got crushed by the walls as the ride started with her inside. There is even voice recording of the incident which is even more chilling. I feel so bad for her and wish her the best in heaven.

I remember going to Disneyland as a little kid and seeing the castle covered in Toilet Paper, but I had no idea it was because of the stitch ride! Years later I went on the stitch ride and me and my siblings and parents all agreed it was not a very fun ride. So crazy to piece these parts of my childhood memories together!

i freaking cackled at 17:18 when loey said "hopefully the new buyer knew that these animatronics were rumored to be filled with... asbestos" i was fully expecting "full of spirits/ghosts" and completely lost it laughing. my submechanophobia was off the charts watching this so it was nice to laugh in the middle! i'd love to see a part 2 of this video with animatronics from other theme parks :P

There's something eerie yet fascinating about abandoned amusement parks but at the same time especially with Disney if feel really wasteful. As well as kinda disrespectful to the ones who put love and effort in these pieces and to ppl who enjoyed them. Luckily some animatronics and props were obtained by collectors.

Alien encounter was the coolest, most terrifying show/ride ever! I was super sad when I found out people thought it was too much for kids. Guess I was just a weird kid who liked that stuff 😂
