Crete | how to get to Zoniana Village. Zoniana village is one of those mountain villages clustering at the eastern end of Rethymno province that historically have been centres of stockbreeding, farming and small crafts.
At the entrance to the village there is a cavern that is rich is stalactites and stalagmites. Zoniana Village is also blessed with cool mountain springs that water the flocks and fields. Every summer traditional Cretan dance and music troupes perform in the village square.
