It's not overpopulation, it's population density what they are actually counting. There is a lot of people in cities and that is equated as "overpopulation"

I’m an airline pilot and have flown all over the world.
Whenever I fly and look down at night and see nothing for hours on end and hear people say that the earth is overpopulated, I roll my eyes.
I also read a few years back that a UN food report said that we produce enough food for every human to consume 2720 calories per day, everyday - which is more than enough for each person with leftovers.
The problem isn’t overpopulation, it’s corruption … or, if you like, sin!

The problem is that governments have become too big, and that's a problem.

My biology teacher had us watch a video on overpopulation. He said, “This is a bunch of bs but I have to teach it.” He said that about climate change too. Honestly, the only good teacher.

As a otr trucker for some years, driven coast to coast on all interstates many, many times. from the south via I 10 to the north via I 90 .. I can a test to that fact, the entire country is largely empty. Allot of farm land across the middle.

I believed in overpopulation, because I grew up in Los Angeles. Then I moved to Cleveland, which has an underpopulation problem. But all of liberal media echoing the overpopulation myth is based in major cities, which gives the illusion of unaffordable housing and overpopulation

I hate the fail to understand why anyone would want to live like that.

If most people looked at their own families they would see it is true that populations are declining. In mine My Grand parents maternal and paternal had 8 children each. On the maternal side there were 29 Grand children, then 16 Great Grand children, then 10 Great Grand children. If this reduction carries on at this rate then probably in 3 or 4 generations my family will largely be gone.

Even if there was an overpopulation problem in the world, it wouldn't be equally applicable everywhere in the world. Certain locations would be more affected than others. China has like 1.4 billion people in an area roughly the size of America which only has like 370 million people. This means that America has far more room for people than China does.

"Anti-human": the word you're looking for is "misanthropic" and these people are misanthrops or anthrophobes.

There is an “overpopulation” of people that want to be taken care of by government (read taxpayers). As long as people take care of themselves to the best of their ability and we only spend on supplementing their survival we can keep moving forward. Total support of those people (that won’t take care of themselves) will lead to a death spiral.

I'm in Alaska, we have a population density of 1.28 people for every square mile. You can drive for 6 hours and see nothing but trees in every direction. hearing people talk about overpopulation makes me think people have never driven outside of the city.

Correction: the birthrate among those committed to contraception, abortion, sexual exploration, gender “affirming” (self-delusional) surgery, choosing career over family, and avoiding marital commitment is low. Those with common sense and a little faith have a much different experience.

Avengers: Infinity War. My teen son assumed that half the earth's population could maintain the same lifestyle of the current situation. I explained that for a farmer to efficiently grow & harvest our food, they needed tractors. To get the tractors, they need steel. To get steel, they need mining & steel foundries. All that takes people. That's just large equipment. Next they need fuel, which requires people to drill & refine it & transport it. In short, with half the population, we would be farming with horses & plows that the farmer made by hand. We'd likely only have enough food to last the winter; hoping that we had a good harvest or no food.

As a teen in the late '60's, I read books about Zero Population Growth and swallowed the lies.
Then as an adult, my job required me to do a lot of driving across Ohio. I was surprised by the tremendous amount of open land I saw. That is when my eyes were opened to the de-population scam.
Edit:
Those who are replying to me about over population being real... I invite you to lead the way by individually decreasing the population personally, but leave the rest of us be.
