Knockout is Knockout! The Most Epic Comeback Wins in Boxing
Welcome back to Boxing I,
After the devastating punches,
As a mouthguard that was blown out with blood,
Are painful cuts in the skin,
Along with the crackling of bone-breaking,
But it's not a defeat. Don't jubilate just yet, mate, the man down is coming for you. There can be dangerous and unexpected reversals right after that.
So, today, look at some of The Most Epic Comeback Wins in Boxing.
But before jumping into the video, remember to like, subscribe and tap the bell icon so you don't miss out on updates.
Greg Jackson vs Cornelius Whitlock
For the first time, Jackson got careless in the fight, and Whitlock landed a solid overhand right counter and scored a devastating knockdown.
After beating the ten counts, Jackson seemed to be on unsteady legs and focused solely on the defensive aspect of his game. He managed to recuperate relatively quickly and survived the round.
Not long later, Jackson was able to reestablish his range and continue to outpoint Whitlock. Jackson managed to trap Whitlock in the corner and began unleashing hard combinations from the outside, and Whitlock did not slip away and was receiving heavy fire, which led to a 3rd round TKO stoppage.
Michael Moorer vs Bert Cooper
The irrepressible Cooper retrieved his earlier momentum, throwing fierce, powerful punches. Cooper, still punching feverishly, dropped Moorer again.
Showing his mettle, a woozy Moorer got up and fought his way back.
Cooper was now vulnerable. Moorer seized his opportunity, coming out of the corner to assemble a gorgeous combination that ended in a right uppercut to Cooper’s undefended chin, sending him almost through the ropes. The Philadelphian managed to get up, but he was clearly finished, and the referee wisely called a halt as a battered.
Francisco Vargas vs Takashi Miura
Miura had wholly shaken off the rough start by the fourth round when he nailed Vargas, whose right eye was damaged, with a clean left to the face with a few seconds left in the round for a knockdown.
Then came the memorable ninth round. Vargas knew he needed to do something big. He did with an improbable and electrifying rally, as he connected with a four-punch combination to drop Miura hard in the opening seconds. Vargas nailed him repeatedly until the referee stopped it at 1:31, sending the largely Mexican crowd that had come for Alvarez into delirium.

On the Bradley comeback, what is "slown down"? 03:20 PS, you call these wins "epic"? Hardly. Where's Buster Douglas getting off the canvas to beat champ Mike Tyson? What about the fight of the year 1976, where Ron Lyle floored George Foreman, but Big George came back strong to KO Lyle? Earnie Shavers put Larry Holmes on the canvas, but the Easton Assassin recovered and pounded Earnie so mercilessly the ref stopped the fight.
What do all my examples have in common? They are ALL heavyweight bouts. Your list has NONE, so how the hay can you call it "most epic"?
