I think my ex-wife was doing something similar to me. I was even coughing up and spitting blood for nearly a year. After I filed for divorce (she hit me twice and was very abusive) and left our shared apartment together to go live on my own, it mysteriously went away and never returned. Yep. My sons mother tried to do this to me. When I brought it to her attention. She just laughed. Said she was cleaning. Forgot to rinse it. Didn't eat or drink at the house anymore. Couple weeks later, I left and forgot to come home.
