Photocromic lenses do not work behind glass. I'm a pilot, and my serengeti do nearly no difference in strong light or not, because the glass of the cockpit shields the UV. Same in a normal car. Photocromic is nice, but only outdoors

Question about the Cat 2 to Cat 3 lenses:

If I drive behind a windshield with UV filter, even under full sun light conditions the lens will stay cat 2 until I get out of the vehicle/behind the UV filtered windscreen? Can’t see any benefit of this… why would I want to drive with Cat 2 lenses and only having cat 3 once I’m not in the vehicle anymore?

These sunglasses have the best lenses ever and very literally, I’ve tried them all and nothing matches the quality of these lenses; but the frames usually don’t fit my face

Maui Jim rules. They make a fine lens. This Serengeti ad is great. I love the music and videography, but it’s slinging a bunch of big words at you, that don’t mean much. I still don’t know how they work. Are they polarized?
