I am still for the S23 Ultra. These days it is mostly about preference. Both are amazing devices. Wife is iPhone and I am former iPhone but have loved the seemingly endless customization of Android and it is hard to give that up. I can made it look and behave exactly how I want it to and easily change themes on the fly so I don't get bored so easily with my phone. Also love my Samsung zoom camera. Wife borrows my phone often when we go out. IPhone is a status symbol for some which I don't understand. I am not one to necessarily follow the crowd. I don't like the iPhone notch which they renamed Dynamic Island. Still a distracting notch in my book. But again, a matter of preferences.

I've had EVERY iPhone except the 14. I'm now on the S23 Ultra because I became sick and tired with Apple withholding simple features and short changing their loyal customers only. I've had the s23 from the first week of release and it's probably my favourite phone ever. It's sleek, svelte and utterly beautiful.

After taking a hard look at each, the lack of a SIM tray (US), lack of decent Zoom (camera), and the actual feel in hand, the S23 Ultra became my main choice.

Rocking the S23 Ultra right now. I still have my 13 pro max, but honestly the S23 gives me more for my money. As far as blue bubbles go, I couldn't care less since it is an Apple issue. I am on the waiting list for the Sunbird messaging app. Could be a real game changer for those that want seamless texting with iPhones, but still want to use an Android device.

I picked up the S23U just to use for a little bit. But I'm having a real hard time trying to find reasons to switch back to my 14 Pro Max. I was not expecting to love the phone so much.

S23 Ultra is currently the best mobile phone money can buy, I’m an iPhone & apple hardcore user and do prefer the apple echo system but the S23U is the simply a better phone.

I much prefer the 22 or 23 ultra. Less intrusive screen cut out. And through software you can get the same dynamic island features on your Android if you want.
You have so many options with Android

S23 Ultra is awesome. Had mine since launch, really like it so far. 512GB is honestly the one to get

The zoom capabilities of the S23 are insane, for anyone that travels it's essential! I travelled around Australia for a few weeks and a LOT of the shots I took on my trip wouldn't have been possible, especially the videos of the crocodile feedings, spiders, birds, and landscapes. It got to the point where people in our groups asked me to shoot a lot of their content since their iPhones couldn't capture a Dingo, Koala, or other amazing things we saw

I actually had hard time choosing between 2 phones but I ended up buying the Samsung s23 ultra because you can get 1TB for a cheaper price compared to iphone, the zoom feature was definitely a big factor for my decision making. Also, I find the iPhone really heavy when I tried holding both. I was surprised to know that there was no other accessories inside the box other than the cable and the adapter but overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. And man it's my first time to not have an audio port!

I'm a Galaxy Ultra phone at user mainly because I am a low vision person. I use the zoom lenses to see everyday objects, like signs, menus, or animals at the zoo. So I have built out the ecosystem around those phones. I use the Galaxy buds 2 pro, the watch 5 pro, and the tab S8 Ultra as well.

Am using S7 Edge for many years. And I am still happy with the phone.
Samsung flag ship phones, always delivered for better price.

I agree with everything but the ecosystem. I've been using Samsung flagships and products my entire life, but after recently switching to the Apple ecosystem I am blown away by how tight and well integrated it is. It's the small things. For example I was starting a video chat on Discord when all of a sudden it prompted me to use my iPhone as a webcam. Or how the iPhone automatically added and configured itself when I set it up to all settings from my other Apple devices without doing anything.
Samsung's ecosystem is definitely improving rapidly, but for now it doesn't go far beyond nice animations and quick pairing between devices.

I own both an iPhone and a Samsung, so I'm not even particularly biased toward either side. But objectively speaking, the S23U is overall a much better device. The better design, higher resolution, S pen capabilities, much smaller hole punch, and better zoom are all big selling points for the Galaxy. When you compare in terms of features and capabilities, the regular S23 is a much closer competitor to the 14 pro. But even then, I'd say the S23 still beats it AND for a lower price point at that.

Sure, in the past Samsung had always been behind Apple in terms of software support and battery life. But those days are now over as they've pretty much caught up in that regard. Honestly, there's really no point in going for the iPhone unless you're already deeply invested in the iOS ecosystem. Like i said earlier I'm trying to be as unbiased as I can here, but Samsung just offers way more for your money compared to iPhone and its not even debatable.

Samsung has come a long way. I don't even have s23 ultra, I'm just using an A53 5G which still shares a lot of premium features. What win's me over with Samsung is the capability of being able to customize it how you want it. apps that they make like good ock make the experience using a Samsung that much better

I still can't believe people worry about the color of their texts, how shallow can they get?

I thought of buying the iphone this year that I wanted to upgrade my 5 year old S9+.

But when it came to hardware, the Samsung was way better in my opinion. Then, software wise, the iphone seems more attractive from the optimization point of view, but not enough to make me forget about the hardware difference.

I ended up buying the S23 ultra, and I don't regret at all. Hell of a phone, and the battery lasts 2 days. Blew my mind.
