Jesse Ray Ernster stops by the SonicScoop channel to share his latest creation at Mixland Plugins: The 3348 Tape emulator, which is like no other tape emulator ever made.

Why? It models *digital* tape machines, rather than analog—effectively modeling the sound of some of the most popular converters ever made, heard on countless hits well into the Pro Tools era and beyond.

Each of the Mixland plugins is certifiably unique, tackling an angle no other plugin company ever has before. We'll look at the latest, and all their tools, like the Subloom kick sculpting plugin, the Tilt tube EQ, the Rubber Band compressor and more.

Jesse Ray Ernster stops by the SonicScoop channel today to share his latest creation at Mixland Plugins.

It's the 3348 Tape emulator, which is like no other tape emulator ever made.

How?

Because it models digital tape machines, rather than analog one—effectively emulating the sound of some of the most popular converters ever made, which have been heard on countless hits well into the Pro Tools era and beyond.

These are the kinds of converters favored by major mixers like Chris and Tom Lord-Alge for their distinctive "edge", which kept them using digital tape machines instead of DAWs long into the Pro Tools era.

Each of the Mixland plugins is certifiably unique, tackling an angle no other plugin company ever has before.

We'll look at the latest, and all their tools, like the Subloom kick sculpting plugin, the Tilt tube EQ, the Rubber Band compressor and more.

And take advantage of their limited time bundle offering! For the holidays you can get them all at a ridiculously reduced price.

I've had the RBC since the first version came out, I have the white GUI at the introductory price AND v2. It's an instant classic, total dark horse, incredibly program dependent, it sounds silly and over the top much of the time but every once in a while you throw it on a track and instantly know you can never take it off. It can be cool for subtle bussing or parallel crushing.

Great video, really enjoyed that. I already have the Vac Attack which I really like so will definitely check out the Tape Emulator and Subloom. The bundle looks like incredible value at $99! 😎

I'll have to try this. But I've found the best tape-simulator that I've heard and that's Airwindows. It has a huge analog tape sound even without adjustment, of which there are many available!
