Lifewearer might be bad at GM, but at lower grades where your teammates will just randomly push into the enemy team he can save the game more than other supports

This is like the first overwatch video I’ve watched in a minuet, tbh I have lost all hope in the game but I’m glad you can still find ways to make the game feel like something special with videos like these

I play a lot of off-meta heroes like Symmetra, Echo, Lifeweaver, etc. It's always nice when they make their niche little way into the meta, because I was a Queen enthusiast from the beginning, so seeing her spike in play made me happy.

That being said, I think Sym's usefulness falls off drastically the higher in rank you go, but not at the highest rank. It's this weird gray area, where in bronze-gold her turrets can sit and kill everyone, but in plat-masters~ish they're destroyed almost instantly so it's hard to get value in anything besides TP, but that requires team coordination, which you don't really get with the egos in plat-diamond. Masters-GM she gets much more usefulness and her turrets aren't killed as often as they are in plat-low masters, so outplay is more possible. Solid C tier for me, and she's my main character.

Echo has always been a sleeper pick, and I'm glad to see that she's being utilized more. I've loved her high skill floor and surprising people with assassination plays from being able to hover on rooftops (Esperança, Havana, Route 66, etc.) Once you unlock her potential, she becomes A tier at minimum. Lower tier players don't have that yet, so C tier is reasonable to an extent, but if you're in a low rank and you can work with her, she becomes A+.

I'm not the highest level with my support yet, but people in lower ranks have zero awareness on how to counter Lifeweaver. I've gotten away with the stupidest stuff in silver-plat lobbies with my platform and literally standing on it to provide massive healing or damage output. His grip is also severely underrated for when your tank is throwing in the frontline by being at 12 HP the whole game and you can just yoink them back to safety and win the game. He definitely has a higher skill floor with not as much potential value, but nonetheless, he has given me some very easy wins in lower ranks. I'd put him A tier for low ranks, but definitely bottom of the barrel the higher up you go.

im super glad JQ is really meta for now. easily the most fun character to play in a lot of situations, mainly cuz shes very hard to directly counter. praying she doesnt get nerfed into the ground

I think LW is an okay option now as opposed to last season when he just can’t do anything. I’ve noticed that his power kinda comes through when there are certain maps in play such koth or hybrid maps. Glad they are planning to buff him to make sure he can be playable with other compositions without feeling like you are wasting your time.


Im also really glad to see the nerfs to Cass and Mei in this upcoming week because it feels bad to get cc’d to absolute nothingness.

Putting aside Comp and Casual

When you test most of the heroes/villains in base modes without any accelerated ult gain

You'll actually notice that Doomfist has a relatively quick ult charge, getting to 30-50% even of your doing ok or painfully average
I suppose it's a small reward but because his pick rate is average or fair, not many people have talked about this as much

as someone that’s usually between plat and masters sombra is way better. communication goes both ways and people don’t peel for flanks or group up. just being able to spam clips and hacks is massive even without communication plus you don’t even really have to do anything to cancel an ult
