Solo Leveling, also alternatively translated as Only I Level Up (Korean: 나 혼자만 레벨업; RR: Na Honjaman Rebeleop, Japanese: 俺だけレベルアップな件 or おれだけレベルアップなけん), is a South Korean web novel written by Chugong. Solo Leveling Arise is a gacha game based on the famous web novel and anime.

So apparently Solo Leveling anime has a game and its in early access lol. Came out more than a week ago. Only heard about it now lmao. Lo and behold its a gacha game, and probably why I didn't hear about it 😂 well I'm trying it out. I don't mind the combat so far but the game is really easy. Hope there's more challenging content coming up. Lmk if you guys want to see more gameplay or a series. If this part does well, I'll continue it. If not I'll just do some late game bosses and missions. Enjoy!

Sad part of this is that the creator of Solo Leveling can't taste the fruit of his creation, heck, he didn't even get to see or know that Sung Jin-woo would be adapted into and anime and a game.

My main gripe is that the mobs are way too easy to beat considering how much of a struggle it was for the mc to win the fights in the beginning in both the anime and manhwa

Quality isn't bad for a gacha game. But if this is the story that's supposed to propel us forward - I'll stick to Hoyo. At least they'll repay me for time and money with quality.
It might have been more interesting to create your own character in this world MMO-style years after Sung did his thang. Then have Sung sometimes show up, be a boss, then leave.
Massive kudos in letting the rest of the -furniture- cast shine though!

I got really frustrated with the controls and gave up. It skips the story if you shut it down in the middle of it, and won't let you rewatch it. The reliance on gacha teammates really diverts from the SOLO leveling plot.

So... what happens if you didn't accept the first prompt?

If i remember stuff correctly, you’ll get your class upgraded to necromancer after killing those giant knights (that’s according to the novel or manhwa i dont think anime reached that point yet)

I read the manhwa (webtoon novel or manga; whichever) it was great. I only criticized the unnecessary comedy parts. The anime was great, too. I'm glad they didn't add the comedy stuff in it and kept the drama and every other genre stuff in it. I"m also looking forward to watching the second season; just hope that I'll be longer than Season 1. If not, there will always be a third season in works. After all, the manhwa was already completed right before the anime came into existence. So the developers of the anime can take their time making it. I just pray they don't rush it. I mean, the anime adaption for The Promised Neverlands. The manga was a major success but the anime was a disappoint. Aside from Season 1 of The Promised Neverlands, Season 2 was a disaster. The rushed it from the second arc to the final. They had all the time in the world to do almost the entire story. But, no, they just had to rush it like that. Let's just hope that Season 2 of Solo Leveling won't be rushed the same way. If they want to skip a least one or two arcs that are probably unnecessary, then that's fine with me. As for this game, it looks awesome! I'm definitely going to buy this game on PS5 when it comes out in 2025. Well, not immediately but until it is on sale on the PS5 Network or I'll probably get it in November or on Black Friday next year (in 2025, that is).

Is there any reason to play this over wuwa? The combat and overal quality just feel sub par compared to most games being announced or other already released games.
