Just because it’s a public golf course doesn’t mean you can fish there lol but you got the permission after the fact so it’s all good. There are public waters that you can’t fish all over the place so just make sure to always check it out before you go

I fished furing the george floyd blm organized march protest. They called in 30 cops to watch a bunch of karens parade around the walking trail, and then forced me to leave. I tried to hide in the bushes so they put the spotlight on me, then i tried to argue "peacefully protesting" the no fishing rule and they didnt love that either. I told the most confrontational officer"last cast" as he walked up to me to escort me out, and made him wait another 4 minutes as i hooked a 4 pound bass. I turned the drag waaaayy down and let it fight all its energy out while the cop watched me impatiently. One of my favorite memories fishing. Right before my last cast he tried to say "i dont think theres any fish in here anyway" had to prove him wrong right quick

i was one of the kids in the video. they're rlly chill as long as you're courteous of the golfers, as they have priority. if they're hitting, you move out of the way, but otherwise the golfers don't care.
