A view on the japanese saw blades in swords and its possibly use for hacking wooden obstacles.

From what I've seen serrated blades are bad because they get caught on things. Do you know of any videos testing serrated swords against gambeson or clothing?

Unfortunately, the so-called 'Shikorogatana' is not proven to be an historical weapon. It seems to have been made up by Dr Hatsumi, as there are no historical depictions or records of such a weapon.
