I got a Service 4WD light on my 2007 Classic 2500HD and 4WD was inoperable. After getting it scanned it was deemed a bad shift motor, common problem with GMT-800s. Swapping it out was a breeze!

I would highly suggest buying it local however. I ordered from RockAuto under my truck description and was sent one for a 1500 w/ auto 4wd. GM/AcDelco no longer manfactures this part OEM.

Items/Tools needed:
11mm socket & wrench, 3" extension.
15mm socket & wrench, 3" extension.
Dorman #600-909 transfer case shift motor
