Are you looking for information about how to create a Compute Engine virtual machine (VM) instance with multiple network interfaces? Do you want to get a quick overview of important caveats before you do this?

In this video, we introduce you to some key pointers to ensure that when you create a VM with multiple network interfaces you don’t run into any issues later. We will demonstrate a step-by-step process for how to create a Compute Engine VM with multiple network interfaces, test connectivity to multiple VPC networks, and walk you through all the configurations along with some best practices and information about when they should be used. We will look at some use case examples of these VMs along with a section at the end of the video that talks about DNS and architecture. Stay tuned and watch until the end.

Hi I created two nic. interfaces (nic0 and nic1) of the VM (with instance size of N1 standard-8), I mapped nic0 with vpc1 and nic1 with nic1 in the same region, vpc1 and vpc2 networks are having customized subnets and accordingly ip' s assigned to the both nic's are different. Same both VPCs are tagged using Cisco SDWAN api's and mapped with single service vpn thus making connectivity with all cloud instances with sdwan onsite premises users, when i try to ping ip of both interfaces/nics of cloud instance VM from onsite user pc, i get ping response from only nic0 ip and not from the nic1 ip, i am not even able to ping the public ip of nic2, Please help as when i try to run L7 traffic from Cloud VM created in GCP, my ssh connection gets terminated which is a defect i think, or please suggest if am doing anything wrong, i firewall settings for vpc1, i have allowed all and in vpc2, i have allowed tcp-22 and icmp, means nic0 will act as data port and nic1 as management, but still issue persisting.
