Dean, I never make it to live streams, but I always watch the replays. It's weird, but in a way, you've been helping me through a very hard time.
You're so laid back and funny, but serious about things I care about. You're not too perfectly polished, and that makes you more real. It almost feels like you're a friend who keeps me from getting too lonely while I'm getting my work done in the evenings after the kids are in bed.
I also love to watch you with your family. You seem like such a patient, calm, loving dad, and it's so great how you prioritize your family.

Channel lurker here and first time commenter. As someone with chronic health issues, I've known how a parent's love and care can make all the difference in tough health situations. Your son is blessed to have you as his dad! I was watching your latest stream and the gentle way you took time out to tend to your kids really warmed my heart. For those of us with father wounds from patriarchy, seeing your tenderness towards your family is healing.
I appreciate how your channel exposes the latest form of "Christian" patriarchy. I grew up in the movement when Vision Forum was the standard bearer. New faces, same old rot. I've been listening to some of your Christendom 2.0 videos - it hasn't been easy! But I'm so grateful you are covering this stuff!! And I'm warning my family about these guys.

I’ve appreciated this channel so much, because it’s fun, theologically sound and relevant, and you don’t take yourself too seriously. Also, you’re honest and up front and we can believe what you say because you aren’t looking for a million-dollar book deal or hoping for the rapt attention of pews full of solemn men in suits…I mean, if you got a book deal that would be great, don’t get me wrong.
What I’m trying to say is we love what you’re doing and it adds so much to our lives. But take care of yourself and family first, and don’t worry about it for one second.
