Coming from a crochet artist, this is a friendly reminder to always buy crochet products directly from the maker. Crochet can only be made by hand, so if a clothing company is selling it they most likely aren’t real crochet, or they’re being made in a sweat shop or an environment like one. Crochet artists rarely get paid properly.

Btw you can’t ethically source crocheted items as machines literally can’t crochet. It’s mainly done by underpaid workers. Revolve says the product was made in China so it’s more likely than not child labor. If you have to have a crochet top learn to make it yourself or buy it from a small business.

I just hope the company pays the poor crocheter correctly. Most likely not. To those that don't know crochet can only be done by hand( no machine can do it)
Something like that would take hours, I am a fast crocheter, and it would take about 2/3days to make something like that..once you factor in cost of yarn, profit for the company, that poor person got paid nothing for their time.
I love that crochet items are becoming popular but I hate it comes at the cost of people valuing the time and skill in it
