Call it the ‘dead cat bounce’ but for smart investors it just means a quick profit. That’s what a new study at Wolfe Research uncovered about the worst performing stocks each year. These stocks, battered by large institutional selling in October to use losses against gains in other stocks, get pushed lower only to bounce back in the last weeks of December and into January on renewed buying. It’s a significant upside, consistent across the 18 years the firm researched and I used it last year to make $27000 and a 104% profit on one stock. I’ll reveal five stocks to buy that could bounce higher in 2025 along with an update to quantum computing stocks.

There is a warning though, Wolfe Research also found that into February, many of those rebound stocks reverse themselves once again and keep heading lower. The market with its millions of investors is pretty smart and a falling stock is usually that way for a reason.
