what macos version are you running on your mac?

At the disk utility portion when I select show all devices, the top one is Fusion Drive, but Erase is not an option. Do you know how I should proceed?

I tried doing this with Sonoma but it offered Ventura instead.

After deleting the main disk, in the recovery window it said “reinstall Ventura”.

I’m not even sure it picked up there’s a bootable drive with install files. Because this one says over 4hr, so I’m assuming it’s actually downloading the OS first…

Also: there are 2 “createinstallmedia” files. Make sure not to confuse with the .dylib extension

I’m trying this on a 2011 quad core Mac mini. But the APFS option doesn’t come up. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. 👋
