Revisiting some #Ford products here recently. Newly designed Hydro-Mechanical Ford Active #RDU. Same idea behind our Billet Honda RT4WD Viscous coupler but designed to delete the Electro-Mechanical engagement requirement of the Ford Rear Differential Unit. This will effectively be a full-time 4WD system now using the sheer load of the internal viscous fluid to engage power transfer to the rear wheels. This is an upgrade to our old design where the magnet wasn't strong enough to provide grip to engage the clutches and would slip due to an overheating magnet causing it to lose power. This fluid-filled hydro-locking coupler will alleviate the need for AWD/FWD controls when using HPTuners and will give a full-time 4WD engagement for maximum power transfer.
