Never had a pair in the past (cuz I'm born in 1998) but I was first introduced to the sneaker in 2017 cuz of the Skepta AM97 collab he used this colorway for the inspiration so I can appreciate the history of the shoe

I will say that the more you wear an airmax the more comfortable they become. Most just feel like a brick out out of the box. Airmax put me on the shoe game back in the day. Started in 94 95 for me, that's about the time I could afford to grab some. Lol

TNs are the best airmaxes in my opinion. The designs are cool af and the technology is just amazing.
Airmax plus' and airmax 97s are the most cultured sneakers in the airmax line. They have history.
Thanks to nike and footlocker we got these amazing shoes also thanks to sean mcdowell we got the classic TNs with its ICONIC design i just really love em

Nice review! I bought two pair of these for nostalgia reasons. Had the white gray orange pair back in 2000 and actually used them to run in on occasion - not recommended, lol. Glad they retroed and especially in this color way, which is fire.

I would say that I'm newer to the shoe game but I liked these so much that I bought them. At first I thought they were ugly but the more I looked at them the more I liked them. They're just different and exotic and I don't expect many other people to be wearing them so I'm happy with the purchase!

When I first saw these on release calendars, I did think they looked really cool. But I’ve got so much stuff at the moment, so I’m very picky this year on what I actually get, and I actually have a list of targets at this point. This colorway sold out quickly over here, though. I don’t remember these from back in the day, but if it came out in ‘99, then it was around the time that I was kind of moving away from Nike because they were kinda expensive.
