All Widebodies: Virgin Atlantic's Fleet In 2024

Virgin Atlantic, the UK’s other major carrier, has been continuing to modernize its fleet over the past few years. In terms of average age, it must be one of the world’s youngest fleets at just under seven and a half years at the time of making this video!

Indeed, the carrier’s collection of aircraft are now all widebody twinjets and mostly of the newer generations.

I thought you might have mentioned the 40th anniversary of their first flight which occurred on 10 June .

An important milestone in Virgin Atlantic history.
Definitely worth a mention if you’re doing a video about Virgin Atlantic.
It’s easy to forget with the passage of time that Virgin Atlantic were the rebels when they started - taking on the might of British Airways at the time.

I do hope Virgin updates their upper class product on the Airbus A330-300 & Boeing 787-9. It has not aged well and privacy is a major trend with business class products. The seat offers no privacy and looks awkward.

i think turkish airlines may consider the a330neo from their older a330ceos, particularly their -200 variants, although they may just stick to the a350s?? ❤❤

Modernized yes, but also a shrinking airline. V Australia now is only domestic, Virgin America is now Alaska, Virgin Atlantic ended 1/4 of its routes. It’s a great airline but…..

Virgin Atlantic is a joke, a shadow of its former self. The nearly all Airbus fleet is not surprising…the 787s will likely be offloaded soon
