I lived out of a car for 2 years in my late 20's ....amazing time. Still didnt want to be locked down so i built a tiny house on a 28foot fith wheel trailer . Been living that lifestyle now for 7 years . Now i have a indoor shower full queen bed fridge and hotwater on demand. And i have to option to move anytime i want. Highly reccomend it.

Did this in a 2008 Honda civic in my 20s. Had 46 miles on it when I got it, and it had over 230k on when it finally died summer 2023. The absolute best time, amazing memories, beautiful struggles. Wouldn’t trade that time for anything!

I’ve lived out of a Ford Mondeo estate, a Subaru Forrester, and my current is a Nissan XTrail, I love car living. I lived on a narrow boat for a bit, which I really enjoyed, but the freedom of car life 👌

I travel in style in my Honda civic Type R. Love that the seats fold flat and I can lay down all the way across. People pay 900 a month to live like this in a San Francisco bunk bed pod.

I have to agree with some others here, how $1500 a month. Food 300 to 500 a month, car insurance maybe $100. Gas from 100 to 200 to 400. Health insurance maybe. Internet and phone$70, maybe Netflix $11. Maybe camp sites? You should do a video breaking down your expenses. I’m assuming 1500 doesn’t include car maintenance, oil changes, brakes, tires, etc.

Aw you make me reminisce! I used to go on trips in my 2012 Ford Fusion (pretty crazy coincidence). I had the whole thing decked out for living, but yours shows just how long you have been out and adapted to car living. Some of my fondest memories were those couple weeks of just traveling wherever the wind took me. You make me miss the adventures of living out of my car and miss my Fusion. Love the content, if I ever do go back out I hope to meet people just like you
