Seems like Shi's mentality has changed since the loss in the Olympics, I don't quite understand why wouldn't he retire from the tournament if he's injured. Feels like he has given himself up and doesn't care if hes injured or not.

Shi plays like the desire is no longer there, which could be possible. His failure at the Olympics is probably the beginning of the end for him. Shi is already 28, he is unlikely to be on China’s next Olympic team at age 32, at this point Shi is probably just playing out his career…..

It seems Shi is either injured or not well. I'm not a fan of his, but he is usually plays much better than this. Very obvious there's a drop in energy and concentration. I think he should take a short rest from tournaments.
