Welcome to Baby Bandstand’s Baby Challenge Song: First Gestures and Milestones! In this learning video for babies, Ms. Alyssa sings a fun song (to the tune of "Wheels on the Bus") as she demonstrates a variety of first gestures that your baby might make! How many can your baby do?! Watch Ms. Alyssa demonstrate 16 first gestures for your baby- Aim for 16 gestures by 16 months! Ms. Alyssa's learning video focuses on first words, gestures, and songs! In this video, Ms. Alyssa will be helping your baby learn their first gestures and words through fun and interactive songs and gestures. We also include milestone information along the way to help you encourage speech at home with your little one!
After the baby challenge song, we play with Mr. Potato Head, sing "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes" and have a fun sing-along that encourages your baby to finish their favorite songs: Itsy Bitsy Spider and Old MacDonald! We then end with some fun car play while singing "The Wheels on the Car", and finish by reading/singing "Brown Bear Brown Bear, What do you See?"
Your baby will learn important developmental milestones such as their first words, including common words such as "mama" and "dada", and gestures such as waving and pointing.

Our video is designed to support your baby's language development by introducing them to key words and gestures, while also engaging them in fun songs. Aim for 16 gestures by 16 months. Talk to your baby, play, and narrate your day in front of your baby in order to encourage their speech and language skills!
