Multiplying Integers

• Describes and interprets the basic operations on integers using materials such as algebra chips and number line.
• Performs the basic operations on integers. (Multiplication)

Rules for Multiplying Integers
• The product of two integers with same signs is POSITIVE.
Positive x Positive = Positive
Negative x Negative = Positive

• The product of two integers with different signs is NEGATIVE.
Positive x Negative = Negative
Negative x Positive = Negative
