Hey, love the show. I brought a 1929 Tudor almost fished with body work. now I started on the engine bad miss, burnt valves, your dad's trick to remove the head worked great. My neighbor, an old car Mechanic thought I was nuts when I started putting rope in the two cylinders, till he saw the head pop up, lol. thank dad for the heads up.

HAVING DRIVEN TAXI FOR 35YEARS +. THIS RESONATED WITH ME. AS A MEMORY, I LIKED DRIVING CAB. HOWEVER I WOULD NEVER DO IT AGAIN. MOSTLY BECAUSE I AM OLD. PARTLY BECAUSE OF THE ATTITUDES OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THANKS FOR THE MEMORY.

I bought my 29 about 4 years ago, found your channel about a year ago, and joined MAFCA last week after deciding my 29 PU will likely be a long term family addition.

Left a few notes and questions with you which indicated I wasn’t a restorer nor a hot-rodder… which you patiently answered without judging.

Being in AK, I’ve been tinkering with a few mods to help it adapt to our cold climate.

Thank you for all the time, knowledge, and experience that you & T share

The Model A Taxi cab is the car that got me into the Ford hobby . Nope never have found one - settled for a town sedan . Great shoot !

Great video! I saw one of these in the flesh at Hershey back in the late '70's when I was a boy. Truly fascinating... My father and I had gone around the car several times with him pointing out all the differences. Making sure I was paying attention knowing how rare of a car it was. I was basicly raised in the Model A community and currently own a pair of Town Sedans that were bought brand new by my great grandfather. One also being an unrestored original car. Really enjoying the content here. Keep up the good work!

It is incredible how Henry Ford used a single model for different porpoises from regular cars pick up trucks taxis ambulances etc.amazing.

That sound deadening effect was obvious, even watching this on my tablet. Fascinating, I'm going to try to find something on that. The car is just flawless, like so many of the other cars in this collection. Thanks for sharing, God bless and have a great week ~ Chuck

I have had the pleasure of seeing one of those few treasures in a private collection in Oklahoma. They are truly amazing to see. Didn’t know they were that rare. Thank you for sharing Paul !!

Paul, I'm going out to the museum today. And I want to check and see if ours has a sound deadening in it. I remember when you were here at the museum you tried on the hat we have in our taxi. If true, there are only 3 left in the world, then this is a great reason for everyone to come to the Model A museum at Gilmore's and check out the one we have. Again, Paul, great video.

Only 3 left, I use to service twoway radios for lots of cabs now, Taxicabs in general are going the way of the Ford Model A taxi.
I always thought the Checker Marathon manufactured by the Checker cab company was an interesting utilitarian vehicle so ugly yet so perfect for its application. Thought-provoking video thanks Paul

What a beaut! I love the green yellow combo. And that material inside seems to be a faux leather of some kind.

Paul, thank-you so much for showing as this taxi cab, so interesting & old history. I’ve never seen one, thank’s again. Your videos R so well done to detail showing everything, your wonderful, I learn a lot from your videos, awesome 👏 alway’s very interesting, never 👎 ever boring! 🥱 I’m a huge fan of U & Model T. Love ❤️ what the both of UR doing, keeping the first automobile alive & going on for many generations, how Cool is that! If I lived in your area I would buy a model A & join the club, look’s like a ton of fun & learning. But I’m not to good at fixing thing’s, so U might have to help me or teach me what to do to keep the Model A running Lol 😂 Well U & Model T stay Well & God bless! 😊

If I remember rightly, the four door sedan body was unique to the Taxi. It used the same cowl as the Two Door Sedan & Coupe models, but the regular Four Door Sedan used a body that was supplied by outside contractors that was completely different from these with a completely different cowl.

Very nice presentation, Thank you Paul. I'bought my 31 Coupe in 1959 when I was 16. Always wanted one and once I got mine decided to keep it. Did a complete body off frame in 2004 to 2009. We have driven it 45 K miles. I have two other cars and a 31 Bud Cab Wide bed truck, all my cars are Sorted and my longest trip is 2, 015 miles in my Coupe.
