Calling it right now, this will be the intro to the movie. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles and racing against each other, near the end of their race they jump into the sunset and it fades into the title screen. (SONIC 3)

If Sonic joyfully saying “Let’s party”, him racing with Tails and Knuckles, and spending time with his family happens before Shadow comes in, we might actually be cooked 😭

The fact that Sonic says “Let’s Party!” and there is a lot of presents in the background suggest that it is one of the boy’s birthday, probably Sonic’s with the blue banner behind him, which is adorable.
Edit: now with the additional Chao garden footage, I think it is Tails’ birthday and that was his pick to spend the evening, kind of like Chuck E Cheese. He seems to be the one enjoying it the most.

Personally, I was expecting a more rock orientated song that was inspired by Live & Learn.

This feels more appropriate for a movie that involves Amy and Silver since they’re more lighthearted than Shadow.
