The things that stood out to me in this video were that they haven't changed the blocking at all! At 2:39 the TE just stops blocking the linebacker allowing him to make an easy tackle on Gore. If he's going to get to the ball carrier make him use a rip/ swim move to get into the backfield. Also at 3:11 the DT turns 180 degrees to make the tackle for a minimal gain on a pass play. Well done, in that you gave a quick into to the game and then you stopped talking..

That was perfect, then we come to Madden 13, the gameplay looks gorgeous. The enhance physics engine shows flashes of true greatness. Then just about the time I started to wonder if you were going to talk again, you did.

You realize thats what Zone is right? There was a hole in coverage just above the flat. The defense picked the Cover 2 Buc play, where theres a hole on the sideline. Thats where Crabtree went. The cover 2 safety didnt know where to go because he saw crabtree running what appeared to be a STREAK, but then as the defender turned his hips inward, Crabtree cut out toward the sideline. That is a good offensive play taking advantage of the defense. Pay attention.

i like the real time physics like when the niners picked it off and the defender was bumped by the receiver and stumbled a little instead of just taking of at first.

I like that they fixed the kickoff meter, now you do power and accuracy in one click instead of two. Can't tell you how many extra points I've missed due to lag on that second click.

Not sure if there is a button for it this year... but there is a way to control your sprint. So idk if that will be w/ the button or by how hard you press up on the stick

Looks really good. Ball comes out of the qbs hands nice and the ball doesn't flip-flop around in the receivers hands.

thanks for improving tackling with the infinity engine, and then taking away the only thing that most people I know enjoyed about Madden, franchise mode. To be more specific, thanks for taking way the joy of getting together in 1 room with 1 system 1 game and a few friends, and taking your favorite team to the superbowl. If my whole previous sentence makes you go "that's exactly what I like to do when playing Madden, " then do yourself a favor, save the $60 and don't buy Madden 2013

its definitely an improvement no doubt about it. not expecting the whole thing polished in a "demo" but i can see they trying n thats all we ever asked for. Yeah, I dislike when the backs just fall down if you run into a blocker instead of automatically slipping them or pushing them forward[based on attributes perhaps] I do like how you can trip over people who are lying on the ground. Makes the hurdle move much more useful. I haven't played a retail version of a football game since NFL2K5 so I don't know which features are new to this one. I am surprised the blocker slipping from that 8 year old game still seems missing from this series though
