Her drive to capture and tell stories of this expansive terrain reflect a deeply held desire for making change for a better world. As an indigenous wave rider and wahine (woman) filmmaker born and raised on the sun swept shores of Waianae, Oahu, she breathes new life into the craft of visual storytelling. Working with high-brow Pasifika artists like Lisa Reihana, Rossana Raymond, and Tunui Salmon as well as Hollywood talents like Jason Momoa, Darryl Hannah and Neil Young (just to name a few) demonstrates Pake's ability to weave in-between worlds.
